Three
I recently realized three very important things to me. Realize isn’t the best word to use here because they’re really obvious. Consciously aware is a better way to phrase it.
That being said.
1. Progress is one of my favorite things ever.
This is why I’m obsessed with physical therapy. I may be the only person I know that likes physical therapy. Like is an understatement. This is also why I love playing guitar because there’s always room for improvement, room to progress.
2. Some people make things happen, some people don’t / wait to be asked / wait for permission.
I fall into the former, which I hadn’t fully realized until this weekend. It gives me an interesting perspective on why I do the things I do and how I go about my life in general. It makes everything make a lot more sense.
3. I’m happiest when I’m with my friends and I have a guitar in my hands.
Again. Not fully realized until, well, yesterday to be honest. This is the most important of the three. So I don’t know how I’ve gone seven years without articulating this. Seems pretty obvious—because it is, I’m just oblivious sometimes.
Anyway. I needed to share that.
It’s Midterm Week here at Berklee. So now I need to get back to studying…
